Education at AKV Vidyalaya is an integrated process with a flexible curriculum that takes into account the heterogeneity of the learning styles. Emphasis is laid on acquiring linguistic and logical ability and nurturing multiple intelligences by adapting innovative methods to stimulate interest and attention among the students. This opens up path ways to a holistic and harmonious development of the young learners.

We follow the schedule and programmes with a fair amount of flexibility chances are made from time to time as demanded by the environment and the emerging situations in the classroom.

The students are graded regularly on the basis of participation and performance in class activities.

CURRICULUM

NCERT syllabus is extended/expanded to a customized curriculum for better teaching learning experience. AKV has designed its own scholars, according to the capacity and requirement of various grades.

KINDERGARTEN

The School follows kindergarten teaching method. The play and learn teaching is used to mold, the tiny tots. Stage exposure is given to bloom the tiny tots into confident individuals.

PRIMARY:

Efforts on imparting value based education includes grooming the personality of the child inculcating good habits, etiquettes and manners, all round development of mind emphasis is laid on making child responsible about his/her social obligations through different project activities.

SECONDARY:

The school follows the curriculum laid down by CBSE. Due emphasis is given to moral education, environmental awareness, co-curricular activities and overall personality development. Students are prepared for the competitive examination and given career counselling round the session.

Art & Craft

To convert imagination into reality through sketching, painting and crafling, AKV Vidyalaya provide exceptional training and explore the students in different dimensions.

SPORTS:

The games period is an integral part of every class and needless to say, a class that every child looks forward to. We have trained teachers who take up team building games for lower classes and switch to team sports in higher classes. Sports also builds character in children as the emphasis is on fair play, inclusion, and acceptance.

Every Saturday, we have activities especially designed to meet the needs of current century learners. These activities are well designed to cater to building a plethora of skills like team building, problem solving, alternative/lateral thinking and so on.
